Second-place Rhostyllen have closed the gap on Division 1 leaders Broughton United to two points following their 3-2 victory at Castell Alun Colts.
Casty took a 21st minute lead through Nathan Davies, but Samuel Chesters levelled for Simon Sedgwick’s men with 35 on the clock.
Four minutes after the restart, Martyn Elms put Rhostyllen 2-1 up, however Colts were back on terms again when Luca Nardo struck on 53.
Adam Williams’ 58th minute net-finder for the visitors turned out to be the clincher.
Acton are new leaders of Division 2 after ending Sychdyn’s unbeaten start with a 3-2 victory and leapfrogging them at the top.
Ethan Callaghan gave Acton a 22nd minute lead, Kieran Durkin and Jordan Walker temporarily turned the tables in the away side’s favour with goals on 53 and 59, but an Alix Godfrey double after 77 and 89 won the day for the hosts.
