BUTE ENERGY WELSH CUP QUALIFYING ROUND

Buckley Town 1 Wrexham Foresters 17

Kirstie Kural scored no less than EIGHT goals as Wrexham Foresters’ Welsh Cup debut ended in a resounding 17-1 victory.

Former Connah’s Quay Nomads star Kural netted five times within a 23-minute spell in the first half before adding another three after the break.

Chelsea Williams, ex-Denbigh Town and CPDM Bangor, scored three, as did 17-year-old Savannah Miller, while Kate Tasker, Charlotte Dykes and sub Leah Davies added one each.

All this after Sophie Iball had handed Buckley a second-minute lead! And the home keeper Catherine Griffiths deserves a mention for producing some good saves.
