Wednesday reports: Nefyn back up to second after making it 17 unbeaten, Llanrwst win

NORTH WALES COAST WEST LEAGUE

Premier Division

Glantraeth 4 CPD Aberffraw 0
After holding the hosts to 0-0 for more than half an hour Aberffraw suffered a blow when they had Gwyndaf Hughes red-carded on 34 minutes.
Glantraeth then struck twice before the interval, Iwan Sawicz breaking the deadlock before he provided the assist for captain Dion Evans to make it 2-0.
In the second half, Ashley Davies and Connor Gordon added further home goals before Andy Clarke missed a late penalty.

CPD Nefyn United 3 Llanrug United 1
Nefyn returned to second place as they made it 17 league games undefeated with a home victory over Llanrug.
Carwyn Griffiths opened the scoring in the 38th minute before captain Tomi Jones Evans pocketed his 27th goal of the season to double the lead soon after.
Early in the second half, Josh Piper added a third for the Penwaig, sub Joshua Evans replying with a consolation for the visitors on 61 minutes.

CPD Penrhyndeudraeth 4 Bontnewydd 2
Cian Pritchard is up to 27 goals in all competitions this term for Penrhyndeudraeth after Wednesday night’s double against Bont.
Alun Hughes and Cai Henshaw were also on the mark for the hosts, Luke Phillips and Osian Tomlinson on the scoresheetfor the visitors, who were level at 2-2 come the interval.

CPD Pentraeth 3 CPD Llanberis 3
Ten-man Llanberis fought back from 3-1 down to earn a draw at Bryniau.
Kian Abbott put Pentraeth in front on 13 minutes and it remained 1-0 up to half time.
Gethin Maxwell equalised on 65, but Charlie Dales made it 2-1 to the hosts after 67, then Matthew Parry added another for Traeth with 78 gone.
In-form Ifan Mansoor pulled one back, then the Darans had Marvin Pritchard red-carded after 89.
However, there was a brighter ending for ‘Beris when Ifan Mansoor made it 3-3 in added time.

Division One

Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs 2 Bethesda Rovers 0
Champions Blaenau were given a guard of honour as they took to the pitch to meet a sporting Bethesda Rovers at Cae Clyd.
Two goals in three second half minutes won it for the Quarrymen – Gethin Roberts and Sion Roberts on target.

LOCK STOCK ARDAL NORTH WEST

Llanrwst United 3 CPD Llannefydd 0
With one game to come away to Nantlle Vale, Llanrwst boosted their hopes of a top six finish with a fine win over Llannefydd at Gwydir Park.
After a goalless first half, Joel Morgan Jones edged the Rwsters in front on the hour, then Chris Nicolson and Conor Davies added singles, both assists from Callum Parry.
Unfortunately for Llanrwst, Nicolson was red-carded in the 89th minute.

NORTH WALES COAST EAST LEAGUE

Division One

Llandudno Swifts 8 Llysfaen 0
Hat-tricks from 18-year-olds Jacob Guy and Frank Montgomery, plus a Jake Carey double, brought up a resounding win for the Swifts.
Swifts can still grab runners-up if they win their final game at home to Rhyl Albion on May 3.

FAW RESERVE LEAGUE NORTH EAST

Holywell Town Development 4 Denbigh Town Reserves 4
Zak Dakin’s 95th minute penalty earned Holywell a point from a 10-goal thriller.
Josh Acott, Luke Graham (pen), Bobby Bedward and Jamie Jones were the other Wellmen scorers, Sait Kanli (2), Joe Mead, Cai Frith and Sion Jones ensuring Denbigh ended on level terms.
The visitors’ Sion Jones was sent off for a second yellow in added time.
