Fflamau TC outscored Penygroes Primos 27-24 after an even tougher battle.

Primos led 6-4 after the first session and it stood 12-12 at midway.

Fflamau won the third 7-5 and the closer 8-7 to claim a narrow three-goal success.

In DIVISION TWO, Pwllheli Pumas are just a point ahead in top spot following a 34-24 victory against Llewod Llyfni.

Pumas made a big statement by winning the opener 12-4 and by half time were 19-8 to the good.

However, Llyfni came back really well, drawing quarter three 8-8 and edging the last 8-7.

Cleo Hookes was a standout player for Pumas.

Second-place Genod Walis are just a point behind Pumas with a game in hand. On Tuesday night, Walis made it 12 straight wins by seeing off bottom team Pwllheli Dreigiau Dre 30-8.

The second quarter was close at 5-4 to Walis, but the overall success was emphatic.

Cara Studt put up a fine display for Pwllheli.

Holyhead Hawks recorded a good win

Holyhead Hawks overcame Porthmadog 33-19, winning all four quarters 8-4, 9-5, 9-4 and 7-6.

Sophie Ellis excelled for Port.

In the contest of the night, Walis Midffild nudged past Blaenau Ffestiniog 26-24.

Blaenau lost the first 7-5, but took the second 8-4 to lead 13-11 at half time.

Walis produced the goods in quarter three, winning it emphatically 9-1 to be 20-14 ahead entering the last.

Blaenau came again to win the final segment 10-6, but had left themselves with too much to do to snatch a win.

Sarah Partlett shone brightest for Blaenau, who will rue letting things slip in that all-important third quarter.
