Some thrilling ties emerge in first round of Bute Energy Women’s Welsh Cup

Some exciting looking ties came out of the hat for round one of the Bute Energy Welsh Cup tonight.

Tier 3 minnows Llanystumdwy landed a thrilling home game against last season’s finalists and Adran Premier side Wrexham.

Two of the top sides in Genero Adran North, great rivals Llandudno and Connah’s Quay Nomads, will meet at the Go Goodwins Stadium.

And Pwllheli, last season’s overall tier 3 champions, will welcome The New Saints of tier 1 to the Recreation Ground.
