Nine-man Mountain had an afternoon to forget as they failed to build on their opening night 7-0 Cymru North victory over Ruthin Town, suffering a home loss to Caersws.
Mountain started off well with Rob Hughes giving them an 11th minute lead, but Rhys Hesden levelled for the Bluebirds after 27.
Scorer Hughes was dismissed for a second yellow card on 37, leaving the hosts to face the second half a man down.
Caersws capitalised when Dillon Browne put them 2-1 ahead on the hour.
Mike Hayes equalised for Aden Shannon’s men on 80, but Hesden struck again for the Powys travellers after 86.
Four minutes into added time, Mountain’s Aaron Simpson was shown a red card.
Lyndon Jones hit a hat-trick and Tommy Rowlands produced a double and five assists as Builth handed out a severe beating to newly-relegated Chirk.
Jamie Evans and Aeron Powell added singles for the home side.
An Osian Rawlings own goal on 19 minutes and James Johnson’s decider after 67 clinched a great win for Buckley. Daniel Semple replied for the disappointed hosts.
Dom McHugh was a hat-trick hero as Mountain hit the Wellmen for six.
A George Jones own goal put the hosts on their way, then McHugh struck on 28, 53 and 72 before Jonny Hill and Dylan Owens brought up the half-dozen.
Brad Barnes netted three times for last season’s league champions Nomads in a resounding 7-0 triumph.
Harvey Scott, Dylan Evans, Noah Sumner and James Hughes added a single goal apiece.
