PREMIER DIVISION

Ruabon Rovers 0 Coedpoeth United 3

Last Thursday’s delayed Premier clash at the Recreation Ground saw 10-man Coedpoeth take the spoils with a three-goal victory.

Curtis Griffiths gave Coedy a 10th-minute lead, but soon after Dion Lewis was red-carded for the visitors.

Joshua Hughes missed a penalty for the home side before Cameron Lewis made it 2-0 on the half-hour.

Aaron Camplin added a third for United from the spot on 66.

CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION

CPD Yr Wyddgrug 3 Deeside Dragons 0

All the goals came in the first half for Yr Wyddgrug, Hamilton John on target after 11 and 32 minutes with Taylor Morris netting in between.

Daniel Riley of Deeside Dragons was shown a red card in the 85th minute.

RESERVE DIVISION GROUP A

Cefn Albion Reserves 6 Ruthin Town Colts 4

Jordan Williams (3), Kos Jones (2) and Kai Morris shared the goals that delivered victory for Albion, youngsters Huw Lloyd (2) and George Lawton among the Ruthin scorers.

Hawarden Rangers Reserves 4 Llangollen Town Reserves 4

Trailing 4-1 at half time, Llangollen Reserves battled back to earn a draw.

Luke Farron, Connor Parry, Djimitri Carter and James Redfern all netted within the first half-hour for the hosts, Joshua Pilgrim the only first half hitman for Town.

It was a different story in the second half. Within seven minutes of the restart, Joshua Morris and Sam Baksh-Jones had made it 4-3. And captain Matthew Jones bagged the leveller on 72.

RESERVE DIVISION GROUP B

Connah’s Quay Town Res 2 Castell Alun Colts Res 0

Elliott Jones and Liam Wild pocketed the goals that mattered for Quay Town.

Greenfield Res 4 FC Queen’s Park Res 0

Good win for Greenfield, Ryan Jones (2), captain Jack Gilmore and Owen Jeffery with their goals, all after the Park had Aaron Filmer red-carded on 11 minutes with the score at 0-0

Lex Reserves 2 Penyffordd Lions Reserves 3

Adam Pugh’s double and an Owen Davies single were enough to pick up the points for Penyffordd Reserves on Friday night.

Lex led twice via Michael Parry and Morgan Bagnall.
