Visitors Alder were invited to bat and posted 158 all out, Nawid Mohammad Kabir picking up 5-50 off 23 overs and Andrew Watkin 3-30 from 13.
In response, Hall made it to 159-4 in 37.2 overs, Roberts’ half-century backed up by 29 from skipper Ben Slater and Watkin’s 27.

Left-arm spinner Aarya Jadhav produced phenomenal bowling figures of 9-54 for Prestatyn yet still ended up on the losing side.
Indian all-rounder Jadhav almost single-handedly dismissed Sutton St Helens for 149, his stunning effort gathered in 29.2 overs, while Jaden Ablett took the other wicket to fall.
In reply, the North Wales hosts could only manage 78 all out, Jadhav also his team’s leading batsman with 33, Alex Oldfield 5-20 for the visitors.
Despite another five-wicket haul for Dulanjala Mendis, Colwyn Bay’s weak batting display cost them dearly at Croxteth Drive.
Winning the toss and electing to bat, Sefton Park were sent packing for 124, Mendis snapping up 5-67 from 27 overs, Jack Parry 3-21 off 12.
Bay were rolled over for just 79 in reply, Daniel Kelly 5-34 for the hosts.
Matt Russell took 5-44 and Ryan Holtby 3-42 as Bay bowled out Wigan for 192, but in reply the Welsh side collapsed to 123 all out, Russell 31, No 10 Tom Clarke 28 and Harry Spillane 23, Harry Jackman 5-43 for the winners.
Renit Adke grabbed 5-6 and Sion Hellen 4-21 as Northop Hall seconds bowled Fleetwood out for just 49 after making 157 themselves, Jack Smallwood 49 and Adke 34.
Hall won by 108 runs and a handsome 24-5 points margin.
Navneet Kaimal claimed an exceptional 3-11 off 13 overs and Mark Sheridan took 2-27 as Prestatyn limited Alder to 152-8, but the visitors were then blitzed out for just 42, Harpreet Sodhi 5-15 for the hosts.
