News of Tier 3 licence applications – who’s been accepted and who got rejected?

Trearddur Bay have been granted a Tier 3 licence for 2024-25. They are one of four Anglesey clubs currently in T4 to gain the T3 qualification

Six North Wales Coast League clubs and four from the North East Wales equivalent have been granted Tier 3 licences for the 2024-25 season.

Those successful from Tier 4 North Wales Coast West/East leagues are: CPD Aberffraw, Glantraeth, Menai Bridge Tigers, NFA, Penmaenmawr Phoenix and Trearddur Bay.

Also securing a T3 licence from the T4 North East Wales Football League are: Connah’s Quay Town, Corwen, Greenfield and Mynydd Isa.

All of this season’s 16 Ardal North West clubs and the 15 which make up Ardal North East have retained Tier 3 licences for 2024-25.

The FAW Tier 3 First Instance Body met on Tuesday and Wednesday to consider the Tier 3 Licensing Applications for the 2024/25 season.

The Panel assessed 107 applicants for the Tier 3 Certification and clubs were assessed against a number of infrastructure and personnel criteria.

FAW Tier 3 Licensing is a mandatory requirement for clubs to participate at level 3 of the Welsh Football Pyramid for the 2024/25 season.

Following the meeting, the independent First Instance Body decided on the following:
