Win number 17 on the bounce this season sent Flint cruising into the Betty Pickering Cup semi-finals.

The Silkwomen took a seventh-minute lead when Tegan Crockett played a lovely ball from midfield into the path of Zoe Stopford, who created space inside the box to fire home a right-footed strike.

Goal number two on 19 minutes involved more smart build-up play from midfield.

Daisy Hughes fed Ruby McGilloway, who patiently kept hold of the ball before picking the ideal pass into Stopford, who scored at the second attempt after her initial effort was blocked.

Crockett added number three in the 38th minute, sending the deftest of lobs over keeper Sara Lacey into the net after two wayward headers from Llanystumdwy defenders failed to clear the danger.

Stopford headed home her 26th goal of the season in first half added time, completing a hat-trick via a Rosie Hughes cross.

The same combination worked in reverse midway through the second half.

Tegan Crockett applied the cutest of finishes to score for Flint

Stopford delivered a beautiful ball with the outside of het right boot which split the defence, enabling Rosie Hughes to run clear and apply a composed finish.

Goal number six came from captain McGilloway. Taylia Chaloner played the ball forward and McGilloway drilled an exquisite shot into the bottom-right corner from the edge of the box.
