Previews and fixtures: big Wednesday evening of North Wales football action ahead

Holywell Town need just a point from their final league game of the season at home to bottom side Llanidloes Town this evening to be crowned 2023-24 JD Cymru North champions.

The Wellmen are undefeated in 17 league matches – winning 16 of them – while relegatED Llanidloes are on a run of 12 straight CN defeats.

Kick-off will be at 8 pm with entry fees reduced to £5 adults and £3 concessions/under-16s. Clubhouse will be open from 5 pm.

Flint Mountain, who reached the NEWFA Challenge Cup Final on Monday at Holywell’s expense, will go top of the Tier 3 Ardal North West on goal difference if they gain a point at Conwy Borough tonight.

Boro were surprise 3-2 winners at Mountain earlier this month, but have not won in four attempts since.

In the battle to escape the drop, CPD Y Felinheli and Hawarden Rangers will be desperate for points at home to Bethesda Athletic and Brickfield Rangers respectively.
