Castell Alun Colts 2 Mynydd Isa 3

It is now 11 straight wins in all competitions for Mynydd Isa who have yet to lose a match in 2024.

Now up to fourth in the Premier, Braden Lavin’s 92nd minute decider put another three points in the bank for Liam Evans’ men, who have recorded five league victories in succession since their last loss in November.

This was Mynydd’s second league win over Casty in five days, both of them clinched through late goals.

Thursday’s clash saw goals from Jack Aitken and Lewis Tudor hand the visitors a 2-0 half time lead.

Two goals in three minutes, after 78 and 81 respectively, brought Colts level in the second half.

Craig Worthington struck first before Daniel Woosey levelled via a penalty.

A draw was on the cards before Tudor set up Lavin for the decider.
