Goalden Girl 2023-24: Four-some Jess and Jini are on fire again

Jess Jones in a rarely seen sky blue kit. She is averaging more than two goals a game this season

Llangefni Town’s wonder teen Jess Jones made it 37 goals in 17 appearances with her FIFTH four-goal haul of the season on Sunday.

The 18-year-old is now 10 goals clear at the 2023-24 Goalden Girl summit, with potentially a handful of games still to play.

Another four-goal weekend star was Jini Owen-Hughes of CPD Pwllheli, who is up to fifth in the chart with 17 scored in her last eight matches.

Three young net-finders moved into double figures on Sunday – Ellie Jones of Amlwch Town, Catrin Evans of CPDM Y Felinheli and Connah’s Quay Nomads’ Polly Wild Mc-Gregor.

Zoe Stopford of Flint Town United has recorded a career best 19 goals in a season after Sunday’s double at Welshpool.
