Which North Wales senior men’s football teams have netted the most league goals this season?
Compiling this list initially felt like a bit of a futile exercise when it emerged the top four goal-getters all play in the same division – the Tier 5 North East Wales League Championship.
That division also features two largely inexperienced teams in development which regularly concede double figures, hence the leading four net-busters have filled their boots against these relative rookies on a regular basis.
It could be argued these dominant teams hold a bit of an advantage over sides in other leagues which do not face such defensively-challenged opposition.
But this is grassroots, involving several different levels of football all playing an important role in keeping our leagues alive.
The top 10 still makes interesting reading, we feel.
