Llandudno have reconfirmed the signing of winger Gwen Roberts.

Gwen, 20, originally joined the team in September from CPDM Bangor, and has made just one appearance for the Seasiders so far in a 5-0 Genero Adran Trophy win at CPDM Y Felinheli.

Apart from being an unused substitute for Tudno’s home game against Connah’s Quay Nomads in November, she has not been available since.

Now she is back and up for selection in 2024.

Gwen was captain of CPD Merched Tref Caernarfon Under-17’s in 2019-20 before joining CPDM Bangor in 2021-22.

She made 22 appearances and netted 11 goals between the North Wales Women’s League invincible title-winning first team and the under-19’s before moving away to university, which restricted her availability in 2022-23.

She started the current season with Bangor, scoring once in four matches, before signing for Llandudno.

Gwen is a fast, skilful wide player who loves to take opponents on.

As well as excelling at football, she is also a formidable netball player, having represented Ynys Môn at the 2023 Island Games tournament in Isle of Man. She plays club netball for Menai Bridge.
