Two goals apiece from Luke Allaway, Jacob Walker and Rhys Williams, plus FIVE Iwan Moore assists helped Nefyn chalk up a convincing victory at home to Pentraeth.
A wet and windy day at Cae’r Delyn started well for the Penwaig on five minutes as Llyr Evans picked up the ball after a corner kick and finished into the top right corner after beating three defenders.
It remained 1-0 until in the 31st minute Evans played through Allaway, who slotted away confidently.
Pentraeth replied with a goal of their own in the 34th minute through Luke Bowyer.
Five minutes later the hosts won a corner and a cross by Moore found the head of Walker, who nodded in for 3-1.
Nefyn attacked again, a through ball from Elgan Jones releasing Rhys Williams, who found the top corner with ease to make it 4-1 on the 45-minute mark.
Walker added number five via a ball pulled across by Moore, tapping in at the back post.
Then just as Pentraeth thought the half was over, a free-kick at the edge of the box was delivered by Moore to the front post where a brilliant header from Williams dinked the keeper to make it 6-1.
After half time, the Penwaig came flying straight out the blocks and in the 46th minute scored from a corner delivered by Moore and finished brilliantly by Tristan Harrison.
Pentraeth struck back straight away through Kian Zoller.
The game then died out until the 76th minute when the Anglesey visitors made it 7-3 thanks to Ryan Shaw.
Nefyn instantly responded after a back-heel Moore found the feet of Allaway, who calmly knocked in his 10th of this season.
The game finished 8-3 after a good battle between both teams and Allaway adding two goals to make himself top scorer in the league.
Moore made it to 10 assists in the league with 5 more added and he is now top assister for the season as the Penwaig look to keep moving on after winning 4 of the last 5.
A great day for Gaerwen as they ended a sequence of five straight defeats with a cracking win against visitors Llanberis.
Two goals within five minutes of the second half clinched the honours for the Anglesey side, who lifted themselves off the bottom.
After a goalless first half, Tomos Cai Rees Jones made it 1-0 in the 63rd minute.
Callum Hughes added a second on 68 from a Gethin Hughes assist.
