FAW RESERVE LEAGUE NORTH TIER 1-2

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11

The New Saints Reserves 3 Llandudno U23’s 2

Greg Draper landed the 75th minute goal which sealed a narrow win for The New Saints at Park Hall on Monday night.

Joe Connolly and Thomas Blaze were also on target for the hosts, Levi Montgomery and Alfie Banning replying.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 9

Connah’s Quay Nomads U21s 1 Airbus UK Broughton Reserves 5

Harvey Greig and Dan Collins scored two goals apiece as Airbus whipped the Nomads at The Quay 3G.

Robbie Jones added a fifth goal for the Wingmakers, Dylan Evans with the sole home response.

Denbigh Town Reserves 5 Gresford Athletic Reserves 5

Ten goals and two red cards – one for each side. Quite an eventful afternoon at Central Park.

Rhys Lloyd (2), James Thomas (2) and Aleksander Cyra shared the home goals, while Charlie Mann, James Reynolds (2), Callum Wakefield and Jack Pridding ensured Athletic, who led 4-1 at one stage, took a point.

In the latter stages, Lewis Wilcox was red-carded for the visitors before Aled Rees-Williams was dismissed for the hosts.

Holywell Town Development 2 Buckley Town Reserves 0

Marc Davies netted in added time at the end of each half to book three points for the Wellmen.

Porthmadog Reserves 3 Mold Alexandra Reserves 3

Zac Pike (2) and Elis Puw (penalty) provided the goals for Porthmadog, but Harri Knight, Robin Jones and Jay Hughes hit back for Mold, who shared the spoils.

Ruthin Town Reserves 2 Chirk AAA Reserves 5

Tom Freeman and Jack Jones delivered a double apiece in an emphatic away triumph for the Colliers.

Niall Freeman added a single for the visitors, Seth Evans and Elgan Hughes with consolations for the home side.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 9

Flint Mountain Reserves 2 Cefn Albion Reserves 0

Calyn Spencer and Danny Reid supplied the second half goals which clinched three impressive points for Mountain.

Llangefni Town Reserves 1 Hawarden Rangers Reserves 2

Goals from Connor Parry and Luke Penny-Williams earned Hawarden the honours, Tomos Williams with Llangefni’s reply.

Llangollen Town Reserves 4 Llay Welfare Reserves 1

Luke Armstrong (2), Matthew Pleavin and Keiron Hughes split the goals for the winning home team. Dan Richardson the sole hitman for Llay.

Nantlle Vale Reserves 0 Conwy Borough Reserves 2

Sam Porter and Ryan Boddis (pen) found the net for Boro in an impressive victory at Maes Dulyn.

Saltney Town Reserves 0 St Asaph Reserves 10

Archie Jones (4), Tyler Joyce (2), Kieran Garnett-Hughes (2), Ellis Blench and Lewis Sealey combined to produce double-figures for Saints.
