When is the draw for the next round of the Nathaniel MG Cup? Here’s the details…..

The Nathaniel MG Cup second round draw will be broadcast on the JD Cymru Leagues Facebook page at 8pm on Monday 24 July. 

The 13 winners from the weekend’s first round ties will be eagerly anticipating who their next opponents are, along with Abertillery Bluebirds and Ammanford – whose fixture on Saturday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. 

Round two is where the 12 JD Cymru Premier clubs enter the competition, while also in Monday’s draw will be last season’s two relegated top-flight clubs, Flint Town United and Airbus UK Broughton, along with Gresford Athletic, Prestatyn Town, Caerau Ely and Trefelin – who were all drawn to receive byes in round one. 

Like round one, the second round draw is unseeded but regionalised – with eight ties in the Northern section and eight ties in the Southern section. All matches will be played on the weekend of 4-5 August.
