Tier 4 champions are promoted – but there’s disappointment for numerous other licence hopefuls

St Asaph City are returning to tier three

Great news for this season’s North Wales Coast League tier 4 champions – they are both going up!

East Premier Division winners St Asaph City and West Premier kings Bethesda Athletic have both secured tier 3 licences for the 2023-24 campaign.

The pair will now enter the Ardal North West League.

The FAW Tier 3 First Instance Body met yesterday to consider the licensing applications for the 2023/24 season.

The Panel assessed 98 applicants for the Tier 3 certification and clubs were assessed against a number of infrastructure and personnel criteria.
