Ardal North East – Cefn Albion go nap, leaders Caersws win big on road, Llanuwchllyn edge tight contest

Cefn Albion 5 Welshpool Town 0

An impressive hat-trick from Callum Mannion set the Albion up for another three important points at the top end of the Ardal North East.

Ryan Kehoe and Jamie Foulkes were also on target for the home side, who kept the gap to leaders Caersws at nine points.

Bow Street 4 Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant 0

Bow Street maintained their lengthy unbeaten run in the league on Saturday with a solid 4-0 victory over Llanrhaeadr.

Callum Ferreira opened the scoring from close range, before man of the match Ben Davies doubled the lead with a powerful header from a Sion Ewart corner.

Ifan Burrell added a third just after the break before Davies scored his second to complete the victory, latching on to a Steff Davies through ball.

Builth Wells 4 Llangollen Town 2

Tommy Rowlands put Builth on their way to victory with a first-half double.

Kejan Foryszewski added a third and Richard Powell completed the home tally.

Vinnie Cooke and Kristian Jones replied for the away siide.

Llanfair United 4 Dolgellau AA 1

Victory at last for Llanfair, Nyasha Mwamuka and Karl Seliaerts netting two apiece, the latter’s pair including a penalty.

Robert Evans bagged a consolation for the visitors.

Llanuwchllyn 1 Rhos Aelwyd 0

Mike Pritchard’s 21st minute strike was enough to secure the spoils for ever-improving Llanuwchllyn.

Rhos Aelwyd finished with 10 men after the late dismissal of Dyfan Smith.

Penycae 1 Caersws 4

The leaders enjoyed an important win on the road at The Riverside having gone a goal down in the first half.

Evan Davies put Penycae ahead on 21 minutes, but a Matthew Mumford free kick and Craig Harris net-finder made it 2-1 to the travellers at half time.

Harris completed a brace in the second half with Norton Collins also on the mark.

Rhayader Town 1 Llandrindod Wells 2

Jack Evans and Danny Hall made the scoresheet to give Llandrindod a two-goal lead before Ollie Leadbitter hit back for the hosts, but the visitors held on for the honours.
