Gwalchmai’s 17-year-old wonder Connor Owen boosted his tally to a stunning 25 goals in 19 games last weekend with a hat-trick against Amlwch which puts him a clear second in the Bob Brodie Trophy standings.

Table-topper Asa Thomas of Trearddur Bay hit two more to edge up to 36 goals – an overall lead of 11.

Down the list, it is good to see CPD Y Fali in there with Daniel Owen on six goals, the same number as Gaerwen’s renowned striker and boxer Alan Mark Owen (Alan Blacks).

In a struggling Holyhead Hotspur side, midfielder Jay Gibbs has notched nine goals – that’s great going.
