Goal machine Joe Jones hit four as Conwy Comrades stormed into the semi-finals with a thrashing of Wanderers.
The visitors looked lively early on and a corner in the fourth minute was headed home by Joe Jones.
It was not long before Jones again popped up with a lovely finish into the bottom corner after good build up play from Joe Carey.
Carey turned from assisting to scoring with some wizardry around the area and a class finish.
With only 15 minutes played, Jones completed a hat-trick, rounding off another great move.
Wanderers created a few chances in the 15 minutes that followed but to no avail, and it was five just before the half-hour mark when a great run down the right hand side saw Lee Stokes cut inside and hammer home.
The returning Logan Williams came on for the second half and added some bite to the midfield.
Soon after the restart, Joe Jones grabbed his fourth, a great touch from an inch-perfect pass by Carey.
Roles reversed minutes later when Carey got his second and Conwy’s seventh, with Jones turning provider.
Stokes was on the score sheet again for his double and the race was on for the hat trick between him and Carey.
The tie quietened down in the final 20 minutes, but Comrades added two more goals.
Gaz Jones got onto an over-the-top ball to finish brilliantly past the keeper, a well-deserved goal for his performance.
Scott Kearney wrapped things up almost on the full time whistle with a lovely left-footed strike.
A good tie saw Oak show the greater staying power to win the day.
Josh Brown (2), Adam Cassidy and Patrick Hoxha shared the goals for Mark Dudley’s side,
Joel Rowlands and Keiran Kendrick replied for Rangers, Macca Lewis and Chris Bower with the assists.
Rangers fought back from 3-0 down to make it 3-2, but a late goal from the Oak clinched it.
