NORTH WALES COAST WEST PREMIER DIVISION REPORTS – DECEMBER 3

Bethesda Athletic 5 CPD Pwllheli 2

In a battle of the top-two sides, Bethesda were reduced to 10 men with the score at 2-2, but still had the staying power to see off Pwllheli at Parc Meurig.

Mark N Hughes’ side went seven points clear at the Premier summit as they made it 11 league games without defeat.

Carl Jones gave visitors Pwllheli a fifth-minute lead, but Daniel Hughes levelled after 11.

Noa Hughes on the ball for Bethesda

Dean Redmond put Pesda 2-1 up in first half stoppage time with a cracking header.

Five minutes into the second period, Jason Banks made it two-apiece and then the hosts looked to be up against it when Gari Owen was shown a red card.

Undeterred, Athletic were ahead six minutes later when Noa Hughes put them in front.

In the closing minutes Kyle Hartleb made it 4-2 and Joe Todd added another in overtime.

CPD Aberffraw 5 CPD Nefyn United 3

Aberffraw raced into a three-goal lead, were pegged back to 3-2, but then found a second wind to clinch a deserved win.

Tomos Hughes (2) and Kyle Murphy struck inside the first 17 minutes for Berffro and it remained 3-0 up to half time.

Nefyn fought back strongly at the start of the second period, Llyr Pennant Williams and Mark Jones netting on 50 and 59 minutes respectively.

Game on, but Ywain McQuire-Jones turned things back Aberffraw’s way by scoring on 63 and 71 minutes.

Llyr Williams pulled one back on 82 for the Penwaig but that was the end of the goals.

Amlwch Town 1 CPD Penrhyndeudraeth 2

Revitalised Penrhyndeudraeth made it four straight wins at the expense of Amlwch.

Cai Henshaw broke the deadlock on 17 minutes, Tom Hughes doubled the score after 47, but Gareth Allman replied for the hosts with 57 on the clock.

Town’s hopes of an equalised took a blow when Tudur Morris-Jones was sent off for a second yellow card with seven minutes left.

Glantraeth 2 Llanrug United 3

Osian Williams bagged the winner in the 92nd minute which lifted Llanrug off the bottom.

After a goalless first half, Dylan Williams put Glantraeth in front from the penalty spot on 55 minutes.

United stormed back with two quick strikes from Jonathan Sadler and Kevin Lloyd, but five minutes from time Arwel Williams made it two apiece.

A draw looked likely, until Tomi Llywelyn’s assist set up 17-year-old Osian Williams for the decider.

Gwalchmai 1 Talysarn Celts 3

Glyn Hughes-Thomas, Jac Pearce Jones (penalty) and Luke Baum all appeared on the scoresheet as Celts celebrated an impressive victory at Maes Meurig.

Gwalchmai top-scorer Connor Owen pulled his side level just before half time, two minutes after Hughes-Thomas had broken the deadlock.

CPD Llanberis 2 CPD Llannerchymedd 1

All the goals came in the final 20 minutes at Ffordd Padarm.

Cian Pleming put Llanberis in front, Ben Hughes equalised on 79, but Ifan Mansoor delivered the winner after 88.

CPD Pentraeth 1 CPD Mynydd Llandegai 7

Liam Willighan, Wyn Morris, Osian Jones (3), Kane Roberts and David Hayes shared the goals for rampant visitiros Llandegai.

Kian Abbott had made it 1-1 with a 40th minute strike for Pentraeth.

Mynydd then took complete control in the second half with six goals.
