Jamie Haggas took over top spot in the Rhyl and District Sunday Football League hotshots table last weekend after hitting a hat-trick in Conwy Comrades’ 10-0 hammering of Royal Oak.
With games running out, Haggas has established himself as the new favourite to be crowned 2021-22 leading scorer, although Benn Lundstram of FC Mally could yet overtake him.
Comrades have three matches still to play – one league and two cup finals – while Mally have five, two in the league and three cup finals.
