Title hopefuls NFA kept their championship hopes on the boil with a fourth successive goal-packed league win.
The final scoreline was perhaps a little flattering, with four of the home net-finders arriving late on, although the Rhyl-based outfit were certainly worthy winners.
Star of the show was Amy Webster, who scored four times to take her season’s goals total to 22.
NFA started slowly and initially struggled to break through the defence of a much-improved Trearddur side, who had made the long journey from Anglesey on an Easter weekend with the bare 11 players.
On 13 minutes, however, the deadlock was broken when Webster got on the end of a ball from Sade Benjamin and finished neatly, beating the keeper at her near post.
Ten minutes later a quickly taken free kick from Molly Brown found Benjamin and she struck a shot from 25 yards out that went over keeper Georgia Magee.
It was joint top-scorer Benjamin’s 22nd goal of the campaign, putting her level with Webster.
After the break, NFA continued to dominate the game but couldn’t add to their score. There were a couple of lengthy injuries to both keepers and each had to be replaced.
It was not until the 89th minute that Webster added to the score line. The play started from substitute keeper Yasmin Mills and some fine passing led to a foul on Webster, resulting in a penalty which she herself duly converted.
Nine minutes later Webster completed her hat-trick after getting onto a wonderful cross by Brown from the right and heading home.
More great wing back play from Brown led to Webster shooting first time into the left corner for her fourth.
The scoring was concluded by Ashleigh Mills, who was spotted by Georgia Spibey from a quick throw and rifled a left foot shot into the right corner in off the bar.
