DIVISION ONE – Wednesday, March 23

Pwllheli Panthers 21-21 Arfon Ladies
(6-7; 11-12; 18-15; 21-21)

Arfon needed a strong comeback in the final quarter to earn a draw.
Pwllheli trailed 12-11 at half time, but then got on top in the third session to lead 18-15 entering the last.
It was here where Arfon showed their battling qualities to win the quarter 6-3 and earn a share of the spoils.

Tim o Walis 29-15 Dyffryn Ladies
(7-4; 17-5; 24-9; 29-15)

Walis remain major title contenders after seeing off the spirited challenge of Dyffryn.
After taking the opener 7-4, Walis then added a firm grip on the match by winning quarter two 10-1.
Another 7-4 success in the third took the Caernarfon team out of sight, but the Dyffryn ladies rallied well to edge the closer 6-5.

Arfon Celts 37-27 WaliB’s
(10-7; 22-12; 28-22; 37-27)

In a high-scoring encounter, Celts won three of the four quarters, but WaliB’s did well to take the third 10-6.

Menai Mavericks 21-15 Dolgellau
(9-4; 14-9; 19-12; 21-15)

Although Dolgellau narrowly won the final quarter. Mavericks had built up too much of a lead over the first three to affect the result.

DIVISION TWO – Tuesday, March 22

Walis Bryncoch 26-13 WaliC’s

Table-toppers Bryncoch won every quarter to complete a comfortable win.

Celts Bach 21-18 Bethesda
(7-2; 13-8; 15-14; 21-18)

Another thriller involving Bethesda!
This time, despite a second half fightback, the Ogwen girls just missed out.
Celts Bach were 13-8 in front at the midway point, but Pesda battled right back to trail just 15-14 at the end of the third.
The win was up for grabs and it was Celts who took the last 6-4 to claim the win.

Pwllheli Wildcats 32-8 Clwb Pêlrwyd y Cymric
(9-3; 19-4; 25-6; 32-8)

No stopping the Wildcats as they rattled up a big win over the students.

Môniars 28-26 Porthmadog
(8-6; 16-14; 21-19; 28-26)

Just two goals separated this pair from the end of the first quarter, which the Anglesey girls won 8-6.
The other three sessions finished 8-8, 5-5 and 7-7. Great contest.
