Tîm Criced Merched i Gaernarfon/Women’s cricket team for Caernarfon

Clwb Criced Caernarfon are launching a campaign to attract new members to establish a women’s team for next season.

Several have already signed up but a few more will be needed to form a squad to participate in competitive games.

Following discussions with Bethesda Cricket Club, there is hope that the Caernarfon team could train with their very successful women’s cricket side, when the new season starts next spring.

Caernarfon can then move forward to arrange training sessions, games, a Whatsapp group and representation on the committee etc.

Otherwise, Clwb Criced Caernarfon’s existing team will play in Division Two of the North Wales Cricket League in 2022 after finishing top of Division 4 and 3 in the last two competitive seasons. The club welcomes any new players and indoor training usually starts in February.

Mae Clwb Criced Caernarfon yn lawnsio ymgyrch i chwilio am aelodau newydd i sefydlu tîm criced merched ar gyfer y tymor nesaf.

Mae na nifer eisioes wedi dangos diddordeb ond mi fydd angen ychydig mwy i ffurfio sgwad ar gyfer gemau cystadleuol.

Yn dilyn trafodaethau, mae na obaith y gellid ymarfer efo tim criced merched hynod lwyddiannus Bethesda pan fydd y tymor yn cychwyn yn y Gwanwyn.

Mi fedrwn ni wedyn symud ymlaen i drefnu ymarfer, gemau, grŵp Whatsapp, a chynrychiolaeth i’r tim newydd ar bwyllgorau’r Clwb a.y.b.

Fel arall mi fydd Tîm Criced Caernarfon yn chwarae yng Nghyngrair 2 Criced Gogledd Cymru y tymor nesaf ar ôl ennill cyngrair 4 a 3 yn y ddau dymor cystadleuol diwethaf.

Mae’r clwb yn croesawu unrhyw chwaraewyr newydd a bydd ymarfer dan-do fel arfer yn dechrau fis Chwefror.
