NORTH WALES WOMEN’S ROUND-UPS (FULLER REPORTS TO FOLLOW)

North Wales Women’s League

Llanystumdwy produced a remarkable turnaround to win 3-2 at Northop Hall after trailing 2-0.

Goals from Bethan Hughes after four minutes and Brygida Gorecka on 31 handed the Hall a commanding lead, but Hana Wellings replied before half time from a Malen Williams assist.

Early in the second half, Grace Mpuku made it all-square and then mum-of-eight, 41-year-old superwoman Sarah O’Hara netted a 70th minute decider, Williams again providing the assist.

Trearddur Bay and Holywell both collected their first point in the league after sharing a 2-2 draw at Lon Isallt.

Leah Davies Williams and Zoe Stopford scored in the first half for the Wellwomen, who looked to be well on their way to a first-ever league win. but Bay battled back in the second stanza, new signing Sarah Flower halving the deficit before Ashleigh Jones grabbed an 88th minute equaliser.

CPD Y Rhyl 1879 and Amlwch Town played like two sides destined to challenge for the title in a 1-1 draw at Belle Vue.

Tesni Hughes put Amlwch ahead on 67 minutes and only a magnificent save from Lauren Jones denied the same player a second.

Rachael Nattrass scored with a magnificent free kick after 78 minutes to equalise and despite late pressure Rhyl could not bag the winner which would have maintained their 100 per cent record.

Leaders CPDM Bangor 1876 defeated Llangefni Town 3-0 at Bethesda, Chelsea Williams, Jordan Roberts and Lexi Crawley getting the goals for the hosts.

NFA saw off Welshpool Town 3-1, Amy Webster netting in the first half and Stella Windsor and Sara Benjamin in the second for the Rhyl hosts.

Lily Davies replied for the visitors, who were level at one stage.

Genero Adran North

Llandudno gained revenge for the Welsh Cup defeat at Pwllheli by recording a 5-0 league victory at The Rec.

Adran North top-scorer Ella Jones struck twice for the visitors to move up to 21 goals, while Kelsey Davies, Maddie Williams and Ffion Owen scored one apiece for the Seasiders.

Rebecca Pritchard, Lauren Reese and Amber Lightfoot notched the second-half goals which earned managerless Wrexham a 3-1 triumph at Llanfair, for whom Tonicha Lloyd responded.

Wrexham announced earlier today that manager Mari Edwards has left the club.

Bethel recorded a 20-0 win over Denbigh.

Goals were shared between: Katie Midwinter (5), Fflur Williams (5), Mari Gibbard (4), substitute Lois Evans (3), Gwenno Bolton (2, 1 pen) and Shona Roberts.
