Chirk went berserk in the goal stakes as they stormed back to the Ardal North East summit with a merciless hammering of lowly Kerry.

Registering what must be one of their biggest ever victories, the Colliers made it seven league wins in as many games since the start of the season.

Goals were shared between: Dale Davies (3), Louie Middlehurst (3), Liam Sklenar (2), Matty Williams (2), Nathan Lavender, Jake Simms, Jake Ellison and Adam Williams (pen).

The hosts netted seven goals in each half.

Cefn Albion 6 Penparcau 0

Unbeaten Cefn lie third after a ruthless display of finishing against an outclassed visiting side.

Callum Mannion, Dion Gibbins, Jimmy Jones (2), captain Nathan Williams and Leighton Kendrick split the goals.

Despite missing a number of regulars, Albion controlled the match from start to finish.

Rhos Aelwyd 4 Carno 2

Although Rhos always had the edge in this one they knew they had been in a contest at the final whistle.

Scott Reeves’ 11th minute net-finder for the home side was the only goal of the first half.

Ryan Jenkins made it 2-0 on 55, but three minutes later Iwan Jerman pulled one back for Carno.

Thomas Smith notched a third for Aelwyd in the 73rd minute, only for Oliver Lewis to reduce the deficit to one again after 78.

It needed a fourth home goal by James Rumsey four minutes from time to ensure Rhos could feel the points were secure.

Penycae 1 Caersws 3

First-half goals from Aryn Matthee and William Thomas gave the Bluebirds a two-goal half-time lead.

Thomas added number three for the visitors on 58 minutes before Thomas Edwards grabbed a consolation for the Cae after 77.

Other matches

Berriew outscored Dolgellau AA 4-1, Drew Cook, Josh Evans (pen) and Richard Davies (2) with the home goals, Ifan Jones replying.

Sion Ewart’s 75th minute goal made sure Bow Street pipped bottom side Four Crosses 1-0.

Postponed: Llanfair United v Corwen.
