An all-Rhyl tie is one of the most eye-catching features of today’s FAW Women’s Welsh Cup first round draw.
NFA will host CPD Y Rhyl 1879 in the next stage of the competition on Sunday, October 3.
Both sides play in the North Wales Women’s League, with NFA based in Rhyl as well as their opponents.
In the previous round, NFA defeated Northop Hall 3-1, while 1879 progressed automatically when scheduled opposition Llanfairfechan Town withdrew.
Other northern ties will see Airbus UK Broughton entertain Connah’s Quay Nomads in a local derby, while Genero Adran North side Llandudno visit Pwllheli.
Pwll’s gifted Katie Bowe will come up against her old club, for whom she scored a wonder goal in the 2016 final.
Wrexham, who whipped Llanfair United 6-1 yesterday, will host Genero Adran Premier opponents in The New Saints.
Bethel receive a bye for the second round running.
All the Genero Adran Premier sides enter the competition at this stage – the last 32.
