Tuesday’s FAW Reserve League North West clash at Cae Bob Parry was decided by a winner deep into added time from Porthmadog’s Matty Jones.
It was a cracking game between two sides committed to playing good football.
Although Llangefni finished up losers, they will soon be picking up positive results if they keep playing like this.
It was 2-2 at half time, Lewis Owen striking twice for Cefni, one a penalty, while Rhys Hughes and Oliver Laurie replied.
After the break, Matty Jones edged Port in front, but Will Hughes made it all-square on 71 minutes.
A draw would probably have been a fair result, but Port kept pushing and that 94th minute net-finder from Jones clinched maximum points.
A drawn encounter at Bastion Gardens saw hosts Prestatyn lose a two-goal lead.
Ben Barratt and Sam Spridgeon put the Seasiders 2-0 to the good by half time.
However, the Roosters were far from finished, goals from Cai Evans and Barry Jones sealing them a point.
