FAW RESERVE LEAGUE NORTH EAST

Adam Haywood and Luke Crabtree notched two goals apiece as Connah’s Quay Nomads Reserves saw off Llay Welfare Reserves 4-0 in the FAW Reserve League North East.

Gresford Athletic Reserves recorded an impressive 5-1 triumph at Cefn Albion Reserves.

Joel Gray, Tom Williams, Will Roberts, Rhys Lloyd and Owen Davies all made the away team scoresheet, Aaron Holman with Albion’s sole reply.

Plenty of thrills at Rhos Aelwyd, where the Reserves drew 4-4 with Cefn Druids Reserves.

Jamie Rogers bagged a brace for Aelwyd, including a 90th minute equaliser, Carwyn Davies (12 mins) and Ryan Hughes (79) with the others for the hosts.

All of Druids’ goals came in the second half via Charley Edge (51 mins), Eric Durnell (62), Alfie Herd (69) and Peter Evans (82).

FAW RESERVE LEAGUE NORTH WEST

Mel McGinness was on target twice as Holyhead Hotspur Reserves overcame Llanrwst United Reserves 4-2 in the FAW Reserve League North West.

Craig Moore and Kyle Williams added singles for the islanders, Zach Williams and Dafi Evans replying for the Roosters.

Nantlle Vale Reserves got the better of Conwy Borough Reserves 5-2 at Maes Dulyn.

Math Jones and Aeron Williams scored in the first half to give Nantlle a 2-0 interval lead.

Sam Earl-Jones pulled one back for Conwy on 50 minutes, only for Jamie Thomas to make it 3-1 after 63.

Earl-Jones netted again to raise away hopes on 70 minutes, but goals from Aaron Hughes and Declan Williams made the points safe for the hosts.

Prestatyn Town Reserves outscored St Asaph Reserves 2-0.

Young Archie Jones got the Seasiders off to a flyer with a sixth minute net finder before veteran Steve Gilmour made it two on 36.

Town had Ethan Evans sent off for a second yellow card in the second half, but it did not affect the scoreline.
