Two more return to Penrhyndeudraeth and new away kit is unveiled

Tomos Smith (light blue) is back at Penrhyndeudraeth

Iwan Williams’ plan to recreate the old magic at CPD Penrhyndeudraeth continues to gather momentum with the return of another two former players.

Steven Jones and Tomos Smith are the latest comebackers to Maes-y-Parc.

They follow Iwan Lane, Richard Jones, Huw Quaeck, Adam Griffiths, Iwan Thomas, Liam Watson and Tom Hughes as players to rejoin the club since Williams was appointed manager last month.

New face Dylan Sweeney, formerly of Porthmadog, is also on board with the tier 4 North Wales Coast West Premier Division side.

Former Caernarfon Town and Llandudno boss Williams said: “Tomos Harri and Steve Bach, since day one, have decided to come home and commit to Penrhyn.

“I have a really close relationship with both whereby they have been unbelievable in pre-season thus far. Both are in top shape, with me thinking of utilising Tomos Harri in a more advance position this season with Steve showing quality that I know he possesses.

“They’ve been so keen, so hard working, and with our game plan being based on fitness this season, they are up there leading the way. When you work with friends as well as players, you know they will do what they can to win you football games.”
