Sychdyn line up before this week’s friendly against Rhydymwyn Reserves

Gaerwen FC

Gaerwen FC have signed former Pentraeth and Bro Goronwy midfielder Sam Regan.

Regan brings experience, leadership and a winning mentality to Lon Groes.

He said: “I was keen for a new challenge with a great bunch of lads. Hopefully we can get some silverware this season or at the very least challenge for some. I’m really excited to get started with this team of very talented players and enjoy my football whilst doing it.”

Sam Regan

Gaerwen manager Justin Gallagher added: “We had a decent run of friendlies Christmas time before the last lockdown, winning four of our five games, but I think we all agreed we were missing a certain type of player.

“There were positives in those four wins, but I think there was something we were missing, and Sam brings all those qualities plus more into the squad.”

CPD Sychdyn

CPD Sychdyn were in impressive form as they recorded a 5-3 win against Rhydymwyn Reserves in Wednesday night’s friendly.

Kieran Jones (2), Terry Nicholas, Jack Radford and Keiye Williams shared the goals for the villagers.

Millbank FC (Rhyl)

History will be made this Sunday as Millbank embark on their first ever away trip.

They are looking forward to getting a run out against Ruthin Town Colts.

Millbank are looking for any friendlies home or away in June if any club needs a run out.

Llandudno Albion

Albion are seeking a friendly this weekend.

They can host at Glan Conwy – thanks to their offer – or can travel locally.

In their most recent friendly, Albion defeated Glan Conwy 3-2, goals from Kyle Robb, Ricky Jones and Lee Stokes.
