Three girls from North Wales selected for Welsh Under-17 training camp

Recognition for the north!


Amy Richardson of Llandudno FC Academy, Sophie Rawling of Penrhyn Bay Girls & Women and former Penrhyn Bay player Beth Thomas, now at Liverpool, have been included in the Wales Under-17 squad which will be taking part in training camps at Colliers Park, Wrexham this month ahead of the restart of UEFA competitions in the 2021/22 season.


Both Amy and Sophie were involved in the recent Wales Under-15 v England international.


The WU17 training camp will meet up between May 24-28. The squad will feature several players that were due to take part in the 2019/20 WU17 EURO Elite Round prior to the tournament being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
