One of the most exciting attacking players on the North Wales coast celebrates his 26th birthday this weekend.

Born on April 3, 1995, Julian Williams played for Llandudno and Llanrwst United as a teenager before featuring in a series of friendlies for Welsh Premier League club Rhyl in summer 2014.

While he impressed for the Lilywhites, the club let him move on to Holyhead Hotspur, where he made a really strong impact in the 2014/15 campaign, scoring 13 goals.

The following season Julian signed for Cymru Alliance outfit Porthmadog and notched 11 goals in 22 starts.

He remained at Y Traeth for the next three seasons, collecting double-figure goal hauls in 2016/17 (11), 2017/18 (13) and 2018/19 (12).

One of his best feats came in January 2016, when he banged in an 11-minute hat-trick in a 6-1 caning of Llanfair United.

And he went one better at the start of 2016/17 when hitting four in a 6-2 away drubbing of Mold Alexandra

Then in January 2018 Julian netted three times in 15 minutes as Port put seven past Llandudno Junction.

Very popular with Traeth fans, there was disappointment when Julian left the Eifionydd club and joined Colwyn Bay in 2019/20.

In the Bay’s comeback season in Welsh football, the Llanrwst lad was again a consistent marksman, finding the net nine times.

A thrilling player to watch, Julian can operate on either wing or as a central striker. Penblwydd hapus.
