Flint Town United v Connah’s Quay Nomads

Nomads can return to top spot in the Cymru Premier with a victory at the Essity Stadium tonight.

The current champions will be aiming to complete a double over their local rivals having won the reverse fixture at Deeside Stadium 2-0 in December.

Andy Morrison’s side have lost just once in the league all season and possess one of the CPL’s true in-form strikers in the legendary Mike Wilde.

For Flint manager Neil Gibson this evening brings a reunion with the Nomads management team he was a part of in 2018.

The Silkmen badly need points if they are to climb away from a relegation zone where they currently sit third from bottom.

If selected, Flint’s Kai Edwards will make his 250th all-time start in the Cymru Premier.

These teams have met 13 times in the top flight, Nomads leading by eight wins to four with one draw.

Cefn Druids v Newtown

These sides will clash for the 36th time in Cymru Premier history tonight.

Newtown lead the series by 14 victories to 11, while there have been 10 draws.

The Robins beat Druids 4-1 at Latham Park earlier this season.

Both sides are at the wrong end of the table, Newtown fourth from bottom and Cefn next to the basement, with just two points separating the pair.
