New signing Curt Williams was on target twice for an impressive Llangefni side which triumphed by four clear goals at Treborth.
Williams, who has spent much of his career with Holyhead Hotspur, joined Cefni in the summer and looked sharp for the Cymru North outfit tonight.
The visitors took the lead when a long range free kick by Williams was well kept out by the keeper, but the grounded custodian was then chipped by Iwan Jones to make it 1-0.
Curt Williams doubled the lead when he pounced onto a short back pass to round the keeper and slot home from just outside the box.
Jack Williams’ strike was saved, but Curt Williams was first on the scene to head in the rebound, making it 3-0 at half time.
Early in the second half, Dean Redmond almost opened the Tigers’ account when he rattled the post.
For Town, Jake Jones went close on a couple of occasions firing wide and 16 year old Josh Owen was not too far away with a shot from just outside the area which went inches past the post.
Iwan Jones fired a ball across the face of goal, but Curt Williams was just unable to connect and force his hat-trick.
However, there was a fourth for Cefni when James Phillips released a cracking ball down the right for Erhan Hyusmen, the summer capture from Brymbo, who got his shot off well across the goalkeeper and found the bottom left hand corner of the net.
Tigers hope to face another big test of their capabilities this Saturday when they are due to host Porthmadog.
