Cymru Premier champions Connah’s Quay Nomads had to battle back from a goal down to beat Caernarfon Town 3-1 at Deeside Stadium on Tuesday night.
The in-form Cai Jones ensured the fifth-place Canaries led at half time with a 19th minute strike.
Nomads came back strongly in the second stanza, Priestley Farquharson levelling on 46 minutes with a cracking volley before Mike Wilde made it 2-1 on 51, scrambling home from a corner.
Farquharson netted again on 78 minutes in scrappy fashion at the back post to seal the points for Andy Morrison’s men, who lead the table.
Cefn Druids’ nightmare start continued with a 4-0 home loss against Aberystwyth Town, Jonathan Evans and Marc Williams both scoring within a minute close to half time.
Steff Davies added a third on 62 minutes and Jack Thorn completed the job on 90.
Dean Ebbe was on the mark twice as The New Saints maintained their 100% record by seeing off Newtown 2-0 at Park Hall.
Evergreen player-manager Rhys Griffiths bagged two late goals to take his Welsh Premier career total to 270 as Penybont romped to a 4-0 success at Haverfordwest County.
David Cotterrill’s 68th minute net-finder sealed Barry Town United a 1-0 verdict over Cardiff Met University.
Flint Town United v Bala Town was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
