Updates to football club training news in North Wales

As some North Wales football clubs return to training this week, the FAW has issued updated ‘stay safe’ advice.

Here are a selection of club return to training dates and times that we know about:

Trearddur Bay Bulls

Bulls return to training on Tuesday, July 21, at 6.30 pm. New manager Derek Thomas welcomes players old and new.

CPD Bro Cernyw

Pre-season training started on Tuesday, July 14, at 6.30 pm and will continue every Tuesday until further notice. Training takes place at the club’s home ground behind Ysgol Bro Cernyw, Llangernyw, LL22 8PP.

Old and new players welcome, please message on the club’s Facebook page if you require any further information or contact the team manager on 07488 338709.

Bro Goronwy

Bro manager Robbie Jones is looking forward to commencement of this season’s training next Wednesday, July 22, 6pm – 7:30pm at Cae Nerys, Moelfre LL72 8NA.
Current and new players all welcome with the club following the latest government guidelines.

CPD Llangoed

Llangoed training starts back next week at Tyddyn Paun on Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm.
£2 subs.
COVID-19 considerations: A register will be kept every session; Bring your own water bottles; Balls and cones and other equipment will be sterilized; Hand sanitizer will be supplied; Bring running shoes as well as football boots; FAW guidelines will apply.

CPD Caergybi

Training – Thursdays 6.30pm, Millbank, Holyhead. All welcome, the club is looking for new players so if you fancy it get in touch.

Denbigh Town Ladies

Training is currently Tuesdays 6.30-7:30 pm on field next to Denbigh Town’s first team pitch. Started Tuesday, July 14, very encouraging turnout.

CPD Llannerchymedd

Next session Tuesday, July 21, Tan Parc Llannerchymedd, 7 pm. NON-CONTACT training – the club will be strictly following the FAW’s Covid 19 guidance return to training – Phase 1.

CPD Glantraeth

Player/squad training re-starts: Tuesday, July 21 and Thursday, July 23 – 6.30 pm at the Cae Glantraeth ground.

CPD Caer Clwyd

First open training session will be Thursday, July 23, 7 pm to 8. 30pm at: Myddelton College Sports Centre, Peakes Lane, Denbigh, LL16 3EN. Please message club before attending due to limitation of players allowed due to Covid 19 Rules.

Rhos United

6 to 8 pm every Thursday at Brookfield Drive, next to Colwyn Bay Rugby Club.
