Women’s recreational football: Llanfairfechan win puts them back top

Llanfairfechan Town returned to the summit of Group West in the North Wales Ladies Recreational Football League with a 3-0 win over Mochdre Lionesses.

Both sides played some lovely football in this weekend clash spread over three halves of 20 minutes apiece.

Kelsey Hughes netted in the second and third halves for Fechan, while top scorer Maddie Williams added another with a fine header.

Hughes notched her first goals for the team – both of them crackers.
