Arfon Ladies
Mainly play ‘C’ but can play elsewhere if we are struggling
Played in school, university, county from age 11 all the way up to U21, recently played senior NWW
I will go for every potential interception and can drive into space with some speed
Man-on-Man marking I tend to drop off my player as we move up court
In Arfon ladies I don’t think any player is more talented than another. I think that everyone brings their own unique skills and strengths to the game. If you were to ask who I like to watch playing on court I would say Kath Caine (GA/GS) and Debbie Jones (GD/GK)
Kath has not long returned and it is like she has never been away! Her consistency and movement is fantastic, she has the ability to read and control the game really well, which when you are on the side watching is pretty awesome.
Debbie Jones: so focused and committed, she is so tight on her players and can read the game well, the amount of height she gets on a jump for an interception is great and tips in the circle is fantastic. I love watching her in action.
We have played in some really close games this season. I always enjoy playing against Dyffryn Ladies.
There are so many fantastic C players that have been tough to play against. Greta Fflur (Dyffryn Ladies) always puts immense pressure on my movement down court.
Without a doubt would have to be Laura Langman (Silver Ferns). She is fierce in attack with her fast drives but can continuously defend up and down court. Amazing🤗
I have always been a keen runner. I have represented Wales in cross-country and North West in athletics. I was lucky enough to compete for Anglesey in the Island games. I don’t run competitively now but enjoy going out for a run or a Fartlek session with my dog.
My ambition in netball is to continue playing for as long as I can and continue to develop my skills and fitness on court.
I just love spending time with my family, I have 3 children so we are always super busy.
Teacher of PE and assistant WBQ Coordinator at YJB
Portugal, the old town is lovely and the atmosphere is always amazing.
I have recently bought a treadmill so I never go to the gym, will try and use treadmill a couple of times a week.
Autumn, I love the crisp mornings and the colours that Autumn brings.
VW Touran (7 seater) ideal for keeping up with the hectic social lives of the children.
Fresh fish/ fresh fish cakes. At the moment am loving Salmon and root vegetables fish cakes on a bed of rice and smashed avocado. Also love a Sirloin Steak with chunky chips.
Bottle of Budweiser/ Peroni, really enjoy J2O apple and raspberry Spritz with a lot of ice.
Dua Lipa is one of my favourite singers; she always releases energetic music and I like that.
I really do wish that everyone is treated with kindness and positivity. It would be great if people did not hide behind social media to insult or put people down.
