North Wales Road Runners had 10 athletes among the 319 finishers at the Conwy Parkrun last Saturday.
The club also fielded two promising junior runners with family connections, with seven members recording age-category wins and three personal best times.
Mark Jessett was first club member home in 18 mins 25 secs to record a new PB and was 1st SM30 cat winner, and newcomer Rich Eccles also claimed a PB in 19.21 and won his MV50 cat.
Teenager Harry Driscoll enjoyed a good run in 14th place and was 1st SM18 in 20.04, with Dave Spofforth close behind in 15th spot in 20.18.
Steve Roberts maintained his good form, winning his MV55 cat in 21.29, and youngster Joe Culverhouse, running with his dad Stuart, claimed a great new PB and was 1st JM10 in 22.43 in 38th place.
And Mia Morris, another exciting young junior runner, easily outpaced her mother Rachel to knock more than a minute of her previous best time, finishing as 2nd female, 54th overall in 22.43.
Veterans Don Hale and Rob Fryer had steady runs with Don 1st MV65 cat in 56th place in 23.45, with Rob, who unfortunately had a delayed start, ending up 81st and 3rd MV65 cat in 25.22.
Helen Hannam was 9th female runner home, 83rd overall, and 2nd VW40 cat in 25.27, with Rachel Morris, enjoying a comfortable run amidst her endurance training, 79th female and 233rd overall in 33.18.
Hasenheide Parkrun, Berlin
Martin Green enjoyed a fast run at the Hasenheide in Berlin at the weekend, and was just 7 seconds off a new PB, finishing 2nd overall, and 1st MV45 cat in 17.05.
Husband and wife team Ben and Sarah Hudson continued their tourism quest to complete the ABC of parkrun venues nationwide, this week visiting Warwick Racecourse. Ben recorded a new PB 20.50 in 39th place, and Sarah was 19th female, and 100th overall in 24.01.
Pont y Bala
Jon Evans gained a MV50 cat win at the Pont y Bala parkrun on Saturday, finishing 13th overall in 25.50.
Cat Win for Lesley on testing course
Jon Evans and Lesley Goodson competed on a challenging and bumpy four-lap course around Heaton Park, in north Manchester last Sunday morning.
Lesley won her VW55 age category in 1 hr 54 mins 25 secs in 125th overall, and Jon, heading back to form, produced a great effort over the last lap to dip under the two-hour mark in 1.59.40 for 165th position.
Conwy Junior Parkrun
There was another good turnout of some 50 young runners at the Conwy Junior Parkrun held last Sunday morning, but due to many other commitments, there were just two youngsters with NWRRC links involved.
Ben Spofforth achieved a new PB of 13.01 finishing in 22nd place, and Kacey Alford continued her progress in 26th overall and was 9th female runner in 13.30.
